I had a beautiful "maxi" coat that I adored and I could actually fit into it again after all these years. I do have a black velvet and cream satin dress from a beauty pageant that I kept with the 'hope' that one day I could squeeze into it. Funny how even back then my taste was different- this dress is not your typical 'prom dress' but a classic simple shirtwaist style. We had to add an extra ruffle around the bottom since I am 6' tall and wore heels for the pageant- lol. I still have a picture of that night. Oh, to be young again....nah! Thanks for sharing!
